About the Event

The Pure Ima(gene)ation Benefit is a special fundraising event coming to Saskatoon in 2026, bringing together community leaders, families, and partners to directly support groundbreaking MEF2C research - research that could change the future for children living with this devastating rare neurological disorder.

Join us for dinner and a special evening to support this important cause.

Why it Matters

MEF2C-related disorder is a rare genetic neurological condition that causes profound developmental challenges and currently has no disease-modifying treatments. Advancing research is essential — and it requires dedicated funding.

This event has been created for one clear purpose: to directly fund a specific MEF2C research project focused on improving understanding of the disorder and advancing pathways toward future therapies. All net proceeds from the event will be directed to this research initiative.

By bringing together families, researchers, sponsors, and community partners, this event aims to accelerate progress in an area where every new insight matters — and where targeted investment can meaningfully move the science forward.
